He's Here!

One of the most difficult aspects of pregnancy, I think, is making sure that all the people that care about you are kept up-to-date on every detail of the nine month process. It's particularly hard when all of your family members live in other states.

With Lane, I took advantage of Internet e-mail to distribute regular pregnancy updates, and that was well received by everybody (and led to a drastic reduction in long-distance telephone charges after each pre-natal visit). But now that I have access to such high-tech accoutrements as a scanner and a WWW server (and now that most of my family members have access to a WWW browser), I thought I'd take the online updating one step further.

I'll still be sending out the e-mail updates, and you'll even be able to read them here if you've lost your copy, or aren't on the mailing list. But I'll supplement those with a variety of other materials, sonogram images, a copy of my birth plan, and links to other pregnancy-related sites that I particularly like.
