Most of what you'll find here are photos, with an occasional scrap of text. Photos of my kids, photos of me as a kid, photos of my friends. If you actually decide to follow this link, don't come complaining to me that it's the internet equivalent of never-ending home movies. The beauty of the 'net is that you don't have to stay! And if you don't have some intensely personal connection to me--past or present--you're probably going to be bored to tears here.

When I'm not teaching at RIT, being mom to my kids, or spending time with my husband and friends, I do some training and consulting under the auspices of my business, ITCS. ITCS is making a transition from a sole proprietorship focusing on Internet training to a consortium of talented IT professionals offering training and consulting services in a broad spectrum of areas, including networking, databases, web architecture and programming, graphic design and animation, and interface design. |
I'm an assistant professor of Information Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology. (That's Rochester, NY.) What's IT? Great question. Essentially, it's the use of computer technology to store, manipulate, transmit, and display information. My areas of interest are web design and technology, particularly the design of information structures on the web using HTML and XML, and the use of various technologies to create personalized, data-driven sites. |
